It was already known that Sunday’s match between Olympique de Marseille and Le Havre AC would be the last of Jean-Louis Gasset’s reign at OM, however, as he revealed on Friday, it will also be the last of his managerial career. Les Phocéens need to win and then hope that results elsewhere go their way if they are to obtain European football for next season.

Having been mired in an injury crisis for much of the second part of the season, Marseille have an almost full squad to pick from against Le Havre. Valentin Rongier has been a long-term absentee and despite hope that he may return before the end of the season, he has ultimately failed to do so. Azzedine Ounahi is the only other absentee for OM.

Ismaila Sarr partnered Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang up front against Stade de Reims in midweek but it is expected to be Faris Moumbagna who partners the Gabonese striker on Sunday evening.
