Olympique de Marseille will arrive late in Angers after fog at the destination airport disrupted their travel on Saturday. The squad and staff finally left Marseille Provence at 14:00, bound for Rennes.

According to L'Équipe, they had planned a morning flight to Angers but were held in Marseille for a long spell because of the weather. From Rennes, they face a coach journey of about 130 kilometres to reach Angers.

Their preparations have been thrown off schedule. The Ligue 1 meeting with Angers is due to kick off at 21:05.

Club officials, frustrated by the disruption, considered requesting a postponement. The match should nevertheless be able to take place at the scheduled time.

The adjusted route leaves Marseille with a compressed build-up before the evening fixture.
