According to L’Équipe, Marseille are among the clubs tracking Real Oviedo winger Haissem Hassan, 23, after his impressive 2026 World Cup with Egypt.

The interest comes as Marseille assess potential attacking reinforcements before the end of the summer window.

The Marseille-born attacker was one of Egypt’s revelations at the tournament. He is under contract at Real Oviedo until 2027.

Marseille have yet to make their first signing of the summer. The new hierarchy have prioritised departures, with Gerónimo Rulli and Facundo Medina among those close to leaving the Vélodrome.

Head coach Bruno Génésio said on Friday he wants additions once there is sufficient financial room to manoeuvre. Hassan could be an option if the attacking department changes, with Igor Paixão drawing interest from Leeds United and Amine Gouiri also on the radar of Serie A side Como.
