Marseille v Lille on 22 March has been brought forward to 17:15 because of the municipal elections, affecting this Ligue 1 matchday 27 fixture.

The change was announced on Friday. The LFP said in a statement that the decision was taken in consultation with the Interior Ministry and the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur prefecture.

The second round of the elections takes place that day in Marseille, where authorities have considered the possibility of unrest linked to the vote.

Results are due at 20:00, a timing that raised concerns around an evening kick-off.

The match was originally slated for 21:00 and will now be played at the same time as Rennes v Metz and Paris FC v Le Havre.
