Marseille’s Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang available for just €1.5m | OneFootball

There will be a clearout at Olympique de Marseille this summer. Following the club’s failure to qualify for next season’s edition of the UEFA Champions League, there is a need to balance the books. There is no player in the current squad that is untouchable, however, there are players that OM are keener to offload than others.

Marseille are particularly keen to offload Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang (37), largely due to his high salary. Last season, he was a key member of the first team, scoring 14 goals and registering 10 assists in 41 games in all competitions. But OM want to move him on this summer. 

There is no question of a contract termination, L’Équipe understands, but as per a report from La Provence, a low price-tag has been set for the former Arsenal, Chelsea, and Barcelona forward. The publication understands that he is available for just €1.5m. There is significant interest in Turkey, with the likes of Trabzonspor, Besiktas, Fenerbahce, and Corum all interested. LAFC are also interested but must first sell a player.
