Jordan James was substituted in the second half of Leicester's 2-2 draw with Bristol City on Wednesday night
Martí Cifuentes has raised doubts over Jordan James’ fitness ahead of Leicester City’s clash with Ipswich Town.
The Wales international was substituted around the hour mark for Patson Daka against Bristol City on Wednesday night, with the Foxes leading 2-1 at the time.
An 83rd minute equaliser from Emil Riis meant the two sides shared the spoils in a 2-2 draw, meaning Leicester have won just one of their last four in the league amid growing pressure on the manager.
James arrived at the King Power stadium in the summer, signing from French side Rennes on loan for the campaign after he had struggled for game time in Ligue 1 in the previous campaign.
The 21-year-old has made 16 appearances in the Championship so far this season, including 15 starts, contributing five goals and two assists.

Cifuentes has claimed that James’ fitness is in doubt for this weekend’s important clash at home against Ipswich on Saturday.
He revealed that a groin issue led to him being substituted just after half time, and that he was unable to shake off a first-half issue in order to complete the second 45 at Ashton Gate.
“With JJ today we had to sub him because he was struggling at half-time,” said Cifuentes, via Leicestershire Live.
“We tried to see how it could go in the second half but it was not getting better.
“Having a game in 48 hours, it’s important to keep everybody available.
“Hopefully [he’ll be okay to play on Saturday].
“He mentioned he was feeling it and it was not getting better.
“He’s a very important player for us.”
James made the move to Leicester in the summer with the aim of earning more consistent game time, and he has cemented himself as a regular presence in Cifuentes’ side.
The Welshman has started each of the Foxes’ last 15 games, scoring goals against the likes of Wrexham, Swansea City, Norwich City and Derby County, proving himself as a key part of the first team squad.
Leicester sit 13th in the Championship table, three points outside of the play-off places after 20 fixtures.
Their clash against the Tractor Boys will come on 13 December in a 3pm kick-off at the King Power.

James has become a really important part of this Leicester team, so his potential absence will be a real blow against such fierce opposition as Ipswich.
It will leave them quite light in midfield given Boubakary Soumaré and Aaron Ramsey are also both out of contention at the moment as well.
With the pressure mounting on Cifuentes, this is not an ideal development, and Ipswich’s form suggests this could be the worst possible opponent they could be facing.
