RB Leipzig have confirmed Martín Demichelis as head coach ahead of the 2026-27 season.
In a club statement announcing the 45-year-old on a contract to 30 June 2028, Leipzig highlighted his experience across Europe, South America and North America, said his outlook suits the club's global focus, and expressed conviction he will provide fresh impetus and play a key role in continued success.

Demichelis began coaching as an assistant at Málaga, then worked with Bayern Munich's youth teams.
He later took head coach roles at River Plate in Argentina and CF Monterrey in Mexico.
He was most recently in charge of La Liga side RCD Mallorca.
