Martinelli continues impressive run of form with goal for Brazil

Gabriel Martinelli continued his impressive run of form of late by scoring for Brazil, though could not prevent his side from losing to Japan.

Martinelli has found himself in and out of Mikel Arteta’s starting 11 of late, but has managed to make an impact off the bench.

He scored a late equaliser in the 1-1 draw with Man City having also scored after being introduced late on in the Champions League win over Athletic Club.

The Gunners star started for Brazil in their friendly against Japan, scoring his side’s second goal following Paulo Henrique’s opener.

But Japan scored three times to come from behind to win.

Martinelli will be hoping his continued good form earns him a starting spot when Arsenal take on Fulham on Saturday, looking to keep their place at the top of the Premier League.
