Auxerre defender Marvin Senaya has undergone surgery and will be out for several months after suffering a serious injury with Ghana at the World Cup. The player announced the operation and his lengthy absence.
He was forced off during the match between Ghana and Colombia.

The international defender, formerly of Strasbourg, suffered a serious thigh injury.
It is a major blow for AJA, who must already start their season without Bryan Okoh after an anterior cruciate ligament rupture.
