Massimiliano Canzi has been awarded the Serie A Women's Panchina d'Oro for the 2024/25 season today in Coverciano, at the end of a successful year as coach of the Juventus Women's First Team.
In his first season with the Bianconere, Canzi immediately made his mark by achieving a historic double, winning the Serie A title and Italian Cup and guiding the team to the highest level. His work was recognised by the FIGC Technical Sector during today's official ceremony, during which the award for best coach of last season was presented by Mario Beretta, current president of the Technical Sector and long-time collaborator of Canzi himself.
With this award, Canzi becomes the third coach in the history of Juventus Women to win the Panchina d'Oro, after Rita Guarino and Joe Montemurro, confirming the excellence of the path taken by the Club in women's football.
"I am thrilled to receive this award thanks to the votes of my colleagues. I would like to thank my players, who have been the absolute stars of our season, Juventus, who gave me the opportunity to compete at the highest level, and my staff, who help me grow and improve every day."
