Massive Chelsea workload left this week with plans to shift 7 unwanted players

Chelsea are still planning to sell SEVEN players this week before the transfer window closes on Friday with a massive workload still left to do.

We thought we might have heard of some advancements on some of these moves yesterday, but there was nothing at all happening, at least not anything that was publicly reported. So unless Chelsea are moving with some of these deals behind the scenes and they just haven’t hit the headlines yet, which is possible of course, then the club have A LOT to do and get done in the remaining four days of this window if they are to even shift half of the players that they reportedly want to shift this week.

Chilwell and Sterling could leave this week

According to a report from The Daily Mail last night, Chelsea are aiming to part with up to SEVEN players ahead of Friday.

Raheem Sterling is the main name mentioned in the article, but we know other players such as Ben Chilwell, Romelu Lukaku, and Kepa Arrizabalaga will also be on this list.

But the report also says that moving Sterling and other unwanted players out of Stamford Bridge ahead of Friday’s transfer deadline could have a bearing on the club successfully signing a striker in the coming days, with Victor Osimhen mentioned as the main target there.
