Franco Mastantuono scored his first UEFA Champions League goal in Real Madrid’s 6-1 win over AS Monaco at the Santiago Bernabéu.
The 18-year-old Argentine, 159 days old, became the third youngest player in Real Madrid’s history to score in the competition, behind Endrick and Raúl González.
Mastantuono’s goal was part of Real Madrid’s six-goal victory over Monaco, which contributed to their position in the Champions League group phase.
He is also the second youngest Argentine to score in the Champions League, behind Lionel Messi. The eight-time Ballon d’Or winner, scored his first Champions League goal against Panathinaikos in 2005, which was also only his second goal for Barcelona.
