Hibernian 1-1 Motherwell at Easter Road keeps Motherwell fourth and Hibernian fifth in the Scottish Premiership.

In the 52nd minute Tawanda Maswanhise finished low from the right after Elijah Just led a break to put Motherwell ahead. The forward is now on 10 league goals, top of the Scottish Premiership scoring chart.

Kieron Bowie levelled for Hibs from Jordan Obita's pass (69.).

Calum Ward denied Thody Elie Youan either side of the interval, including a close-range header, while Raphael Sallinger saved from Emmanuel Longelo in second half stoppage time.

After late changes, Hibs pushed down the flanks as Christopher Cadden and Thibault Klidje added width, but the visitors held firm.

Motherwell registered five shots on target. Hibs produced four.

Next, Hibs visit Dunfermline Athletic in the Scottish Cup. Motherwell host Ross County in the Scottish Cup.
