FIFA have confirmed the 117 match officials that will take charge of matches at this summer's FIFA Club World Cup.
Held across the USA between 14 June and 13 July 2025, the 32-team inaugural edition of the tournament will see City compete with many of the best sides in the world.
We have been drawn in Group G alongside Moroccan club Wydad AC, Abu Dhabi-based Al Ain and Italian giants Juventus.
City will play those clubs in Philadelphia, Atlanta and Orlando respectively - knowing we'll need to finish in the top two to progress to the Round of 16.
With less than two months until it all begins, FIFA have now announced the men in the middle for the duration of the 63-game festival of football.
41 nations are represented across 35 referees, 58 assistant referees and 24 video officials.
Premier League regulars Michael Oliver and Anthony Taylor are amongst the referees that will be in the USA, while there will be four English assistants in attendance.
The referee for each game in the competition will be confirmed closer to the time.
There will also be new laws for everyone to get their heads around, with FIFA seeking to cut down on time-wasting by goalkeepers.
If a goalkeeper holds the ball for longer than eight seconds (with the referee using a visual five-second countdown), the referee will award a corner kick to the opposing team (rather than the current indirect free kick for more than six seconds).
In addition, following The IFAB’s support for FIFA’s undertaking to test body cameras worn by match officials to identify possible future use and develop quality and safety standards, referees will be equipped with body cameras on a trial basis.
The live footage from these cameras will be made available to fans across the world via DAZN, the exclusive global broadcaster.
