Celtic take on St Mirren at Celtic Park on Saturday afternoon in the final round of fixtures before the split. It’s a 3pm kick-off with Hearts taking on Motherwell at Tynecastle at the same time…

Then on Sunday lunchtime Falkirk are at home to the Rangers who will be looking to react to the outcome of the two Saturday afternoon matches in a tense and intriguing Scottish Premiership title race which has just five round of fixtures to be played.

Currently Hearts lead the pack on 67 points, while the Rangers are second just a point behind while Celtic trail the leaders by three points with 64 points. Hearts though were the side who blinked at the weekend dropping two points in a 2-2 draw at Livingston on Sunday after the Rangers defeated Dundee United 4-2 at Ibrox. Celtic were last to play on Easter Sunday and got their first points of the season in the City of Discovery with a hard fought 2-1 win over Dundee at Dens Park.
