Mateus Carvalho is available to Vasco again, nine months after a serious left knee injury.

The midfielder ruptured his anterior cruciate ligament during the warm-up for the first leg of the Copa do Brasil final against Corinthians at Neo Química Arena in December last year. The player said via his press office that the lay-off demanded fight, dedication and resilience.

He underwent surgery in January, resumed light training three months ago and has now been given full medical clearance.
