Matheus Bidu again missed Corinthians training on Monday, instead completing individual work inside CT Joaquim Grava.

According to Globo.com, the left-back skipped the first field session after the squad regrouped because of pubic area pain, trained on the next two days, then missed the latest tactical drills under Fernando Diniz.

The squad began with strength work in the gym and a warm-up on the pitch, then split for a small-sided game. Diniz prioritised attacking patterns, playing out of pressure and defensive transitions.

Still in physical transition, centre-forward Yuri Alberto joined in for part of the session. He is recovering from a thigh muscle injury sustained on 30 July against Athletico-PR.

Defender Gabriel Paulista also appeared on the pitch as part of treatment for a right knee medial collateral ligament sprain, working with the physiotherapy staff.

The team have Tuesday off and will return on Wednesday, continuing through the Fifa international break. Corinthians face Internacional at Beira-Rio in Porto Alegre on 7 October at 19:30 Brasília time, in the 29th round of the Brasileirão.
