According to Fabrizio Romano, Mathys Tel (19) is set to reassess his future at Bayern Munich in the final week of the transfer window. The forward has suffered from limited minutes this season, not featuring in the last three games, and may look to secure playing time elsewhere.

Chelsea have shown an interest in the former Rennes striker in the January transfer window. Tel was discussed in a potential deal that could have seen the forward arrive at Stamford Bridge and seen his compatriot Christopher Nkunku move in the opposite direction to the Bundesliga club. Despite previously rejecting the opportunity of a move to West London, the Premier League club still hold an interest in signing the French forward.

Chelsea are not the only club to show an interest in signing the 19-year-old. Fabrizio Romano understands that the France youth international has also received 7 loan proposals during the winter transfer window. These proposals could be explored further as he assesses his future before the window closes.
