Roma have confirmed the signing of World Cup winner Mats Hummels.
The former Germany international has signed a one-year contract in the Eternal City after becoming a free agent this summer.

The deal does not include an extension option.
Hummels left Borussia Dortmund at the end of last season following a second spell at the club which lasted five years and saw him help the club to last season’s Champions League final.
The veteran defender had also been closely linked to Real Sociedad, Bologna and Mallorca throughout the summer.
