Roma defender Mats Hummels was interviewed by the club shortly after the Giallorossi’s 1-0 defeat to Napoli.

After the match, the German centreback said, “We expected this type of match with the first focus being defending. We did a good job, Napoli didn’t have too many chances.”

“After the goal we tried to play a bit more courageously with the ball, we didn’t have many opportunities.”

“The most important one I think was the crossbar hit by Dovbyk, but we have to improve,” he added.

“The mentality on the pitch was correct, the team fought. You have to work every day in training, only in this way can you have confidence with your body on the pitch and get great results.”
