Arsenal is one of the clubs expected to challenge for the Premier League title this season based on their performances in the last three seasons and their summer spending.

They have brought in some excellent players to strengthen their squad, and expectations are high. However, Arsenal’s rivals have also improved significantly, meaning it will not be an easy battle.

Rivals Strengthen Ahead of New Season

Last season, Arsenal finished behind Liverpool, and the Reds have strengthened even more during this transfer window. Manchester City also underperformed by their standards last term, and Pep Guardiola has added to his squad to ensure they do not fall short again.

It is shaping up to be a very competitive season at the top, and Arsenal will need to be consistent and clinical if they are to finish ahead of these clubs.

Le Tissier Backs Arsenal Among Title Favourites

Speaking to Football Insider, former Southampton midfielder Matt Le Tissier weighed in on the title race and believes Arsenal are in the mix alongside some very strong sides.

“I actually think it’s going to be a lot closer title race this season. I think there’s three or four teams that can realistically win it this year. I think those four teams are going to be Liverpool, Manchester City, Arsenal and Chelsea. For me, it’s all about picking the order that those four come in. I think if Isak goes to Liverpool, Liverpool will win the title again.”

This could turn out to be one of the most competitive seasons in recent memory, and Arsenal look ready. The hope is that this squad can finally take the final step and lift the title.
