Fenerbahçe were celebrating a Marco Asensio goal in the league on Monday. According to L'Équipe, Mattéo Guendouzi was struck on the head by a water bottle thrown from the crowd.
The incident occurred late in the first half against Kocaelispor.

Water bottles were thrown by opposition supporters, leaving Guendouzi and one of his team-mates on the turf.
He remained down for several seconds and appeared to be in pain.
The former OM player eventually got to his feet and continued.
