“Mavropanos replacement” | Harwood Bellis takes step closer to West Ham

Taylor Harwood-Bellis appears to have made a step closer to joining West Ham this summer.

The Southampton defender is a known target for the club, with the player having been previously linked when he was at champions Manchester City, where he came through the clubs academy.

We now understand that chances of West Ham landing the England international in the summer transfer window have now risen significantly, with Will Salthouse now taking over as the players agent.

Salthouse is well known to be an agent the club have favoured to work with previously, so the move to become a client of the agent gives an indication that Harwood-Bellis could be set on a move to West Ham.

West Ham are likely to sell Mavropanos this summer, with Harwood Bellis likely to be his long term replacement.
