Arsenal wonderkid Max Dowman is expected to be out for two months.

That's according to reporter David Ornstein who claims that the Gunners teenager will be missing until the new year with ankle ligament damage.

Dowman, despite being just 15, has already forced himself into first team recognition this season, playing five times for Mikel Arteta's side so far this term.

But he will be sidelined until at least February after it was revealed that Dowman suffered ligament damage in a friendly with Manchester United this week.

The report however, claims that Dowman will not require surgery.
