Fabrizio Romano reports that Maxime Estève is close to joining RB Leipzig from Burnley for the 2026-27 campaign.
The Saxony club are understood to have agreements with the French defender and with Burnley, with only the payment structure still to be settled.

If the sale is completed, the relegated Premier League side would receive €32 million, including bonuses.
After that, the left-footed centre-half is expected to link up with his new team-mates in Germany.
Bayer Leverkusen and others had shown interest in Estève, while rumours also connected him to Bayern Munich, where former Burnley manager Vincent Kompany is in charge.
