Real Madrid faced off against Bayern Munich at the Allianz Arena earlier tonight as they hoped to secure a win on the road in the UEFA Champions League. Los Blancos made a dream start to the game as they scored the opener in the first minute when Arda Guler found the back of the net. However, Bayern equalised in the sixth minute thanks to Aleksandar Pavlovic’s effort.
Guler scored again for the Madrid giants in the 29th minute with a great free-kick. However, Harry Kane equalised for the home team just nine minutes later. Kylian Mbappe got his name on the scoresheet in the 42nd minute with a good finish. Alvaro Arbeloa’s men were leading 3-2 at the half-time break.
Luis Diaz scored a great equaliser for the Bavarian club in the 89th minute before Michael Olise scored the winner in injury-time. Guler was sent off by the referee soon after as Real Madrid crashed to a tough 4-3 loss (6-4 on aggregate) at the Allianz Arena.
