Recently integrated into the pre-season of the Real Madrid, which is now entering its final stretch before the start of the La Liga, Kylian Mbappé, the French star, spoke about his new coach, José Mourinho, and had nothing but praise for him.

"I think it’s very positive to have a coach like Mourinho, who knows how to win, who knows how to set the direction for how to do it. Every player is delighted to have a coach who knows where he is going, and that is very positive for us," said the France international, in statements to the club’s official channels.

"It’s time to give everything and to build feelings so that we are ready for the first match," he added, with pre-season already at an advanced stage.

Elsewhere, Mbappé expressed confidence that the trophies that eluded the team last season will return: "I am sure that we will win titles again, that is what we want and it will happen. I feel that the team has the desire. We will stay focused all year to bring joy to all Madridistas."

Real Madrid’s first official match is already set for 22 August, when they face Espanyol in La Liga.
