McGree rescues Middlesbrough with stoppage time equaliser as hosts stay second

Middlesbrough 1-1 Leicester City at the Riverside as the hosts stayed second in the Championship and the visitors remained 22nd.
Caleb Okoli headed the Foxes in front in the 18th minute, glancing in Divine Mukasa's cross from a set piece.
Riley McGree levelled in the second minute of first half stoppage time, finishing Tommy Conway's pass from the centre of the box.
After the restart, Sol Brynn denied Abdul Fatawu and Jordan Ayew (87.). He then tipped Luke Thomas's effort over in the fifth minute of second half stoppage time.
Changes around the hour lifted both sides. Jordan Ayew and Abdul Fatawu added thrust for the Foxes, while Jeremy Sarmiento and David Strelec stretched Boro, with Strelec heading wide (81.).
Boro saw more of the ball, holding 59.6% possession and attempting 17 shots. The Foxes produced 11 attempts and worked Brynn with six on target efforts.
Boro visit Birmingham next. The Foxes host Norwich next.
