West Ham are scrambling to make vital signings after a disastrous start to the season under Graham Potter.

The club currently sit rock bottom of the Premier League after just two matches played, but the fact that 8 goals have been conceded in that time is alarming to say the least – in fact many now feel the start points to relegation this season.

The painfully slow and frustrating summer transfer window is now at the point where the clubs bizarre and self-imposed rules are catching up with them, so its simply panic stations in east London.

This is now culminated by the club agreeing at £22m deal to sign Soungoutou Magassa from Monaco, with the 21 year old midfielder set to head to London for his medical.

On the surface it looks very good business, however there can be no denying that nerves are not at all settled, as many feel there is so much to be done to even compete in this league.

The club are also in talks with agents surrounding Ibrahim Sangaré of Nottingham Forest, while we can report that Mateus Fernandes is still the number one choice for the club, with a return bid to Southampton set to get talks firmly underway.
