Meghoma spent the second half of last term at Championship outfit Preston North End, and will now link up with his former Southampton head coach Russell Martin at Ibrox Stadium until the end of the 2025/26 campaign.
Brentford director of football Phil Giles said: “Jayden had a positive pre-season and we have seen the benefits of a good loan move for him last season.
“The competition for places at full-back is very strong and we thought a loan might be the best way for him to develop this season. When this option came up, we thought it would be great for him.
“Jayden will be going into a high-pressure environment with the chance to compete for trophies and play European football. It is a great opportunity for him at a big club and I am sure he will relish it.
“We look forward to seeing how Jayden develops over the next year and welcoming him back at the end of the season.”

Meghoma signed for Brentford from Southampton on Deadline Day of the 2024 summer transfer window on a four-year contract, with the club retaining an option to extend the deal by an additional two years.
The left-back put pen to paper on his first professional contract with the Saints in July 2023, before making his first-team debut the following month in a Carabao Cup defeat to Gillingham.
He made a further three appearances for the Saints last season, all in the Emirates FA Cup under his new Rangers head coach.
Meghoma has represented England up to under-19 level and was part of the squad that lifted the Pinatar Super Cup in Spain in March 2024, as well as being in the Young Lions squad for Under-19 Euro 2025 this summer.
The full-back made a loan switch to Championship side Preston North End in January 2025, which saw him play 12 times in the second tier and register one assist, alongside some impressive performances.
