Melvine Malard bags goal on international duty

Manchester United Women had numerous players in action on international duty on Tuesday afternoon and evening.
Malard’s game got off to the perfect start when she headed in France’s opener after only three minutes.
She played 63 minutes of the 2-2 draw with Germany, having a total of three shots with two finding the target.
Malard completed 100% of her dribbles and also made three key passes in a strong outing for her country.
Toone grabbed an assist in England’s 3-0 victory over Australia.
She made three key passes and completed 92% of her passing attempts.
Toone was unlucky in front of goal, taking four shots but two of them were blocked by the Australian defence.
The United captain put in another impressive display, making three tackles as her side kept a clean sheet.
She made a total of nine recoveries as well as a clearance and an interception.
Le Tissier also won a total of five ground duels and completed 90% of her passes.
The Dutch defender played 81 minutes of the Netherlands 1-0 victory over Canada.

The Canadian fullback was on the losing side to Janssen but also shone like her United teammate.

Olme was one of three United Swedish stars involved in their 0-1 loss to Spain.
She could only complete 59% of her passes and had a total of two shots.
Olme impressed defensively though, winning five tackles and a huge nine ground duels during the encounter.
The left back played the first half, making two interceptions and three clearances in the match.
She also completed one key pass and 100% of her crossing attempts in a productive half.
She made one key pass in her 35 minutes on the pitch.
Rolfo completed 89% of her passes and made one clearance in a quiet showing against the world champions.
The midfielder played 82 minutes in Japan’s 0-2 loss to Norway.
She made 87% of her passes and had one shot on goal.
Miyazawa was unlucky not to score, hitting the woodwork against the Norwegians. She also won two ground duels in the match.
She played 90 minutes for Norway, making one key pass and 84% of her passes found their intended target.
The Norwegian won her only aerial duel but could also only win three of her nine ground contests.
The striker played the final 23 minutes of the game, completing her two dribble attempts.
She also made one key pass and completed three out of four ground duels during her time on the pitch.
