Memphis Depay remains without a goal in 2026, his run stretching to 10 matches after Corinthians lost to Coritiba at Neo Química Arena on Wednesday.
His last goal came on 21 December 2025 in the second match of the Copa do Brasil final against Vasco at the Maracanã.
This is already his longest barren spell since early 2024, when at Atletico Madrid he went 10 games without a goal or assist between September 2023 and January 2024. It is also his worst drought since arriving at Corinthians in September 2024.
In 2026 he has drawn blanks against Bahia, Flamengo, Capivariano, Palmeiras, Red Bull Bragantino, Athletico Paranaense, Portuguesa, Cruzeiro, Novorizontino and Coritiba. He did find the net versus Flamengo in the Supercopa do Brasil in Brasília, but the effort was ruled offside. He has one assist this season.
For Corinthians, the Dutch forward has 19 goals and 15 assists in 74 appearances, with three trophies won, the Campeonato Paulista and Copa do Brasil in 2025, and the Supercopa at the start of this season.
Memphis is next in action on Sunday against Santos at 16:00 Brasília time at Vila Belmiro, in the sixth round of the Campeonato Brasileiro.
