The Congolese international Cédric Bakambu appears to be on the verge of joining Serie A during this winter transfer window.

Sidelined for most of the season at Real Betis, the Leopard is eager to get more minutes under his belt in the second half of the campaign, aiming to be fully fit and competitive for the intercontinental play-offs for the 2026 World Cup.

According to Spanish outlets Marca and Mundo Deportivo, Bakambu has caught the eye of two Italian clubs: Pisa SC and Genoa CFC.

With his contract set to expire on June 30, Bakagoal is not expected to command a significant transfer fee for the Andalusian club.

At 34 years old, Cédric Bakambu has traveled the football world, having played in France, Turkey, Spain, China, Greece, and the United Arab Emirates.
