Mercato – Italian talent set to join PSG!

The 2026 summer transfer window is here, so rumors surrounding Paris Saint-Germain are piling up. This time, it is L’Equipe confirming reports from the Italian press that Alessandro Longoni, the 18-year-old AC Milan and Italy U19 goalkeeper, is expected to sign a professional contract with PSG soon.

“His name had not yet leaked before Thursday morning in the Italian press, and L’Équipe is able to confirm it. It is Alessandro Longoni, who is under contract with AC Milan. The U19 international is expected to sign a professional contract with PSG, apparently first to play with the youth/reserve group and take part in training with the senior team.”

Several media outlets are suddenly in agreement on a story that does not usually attract much rumor, so there is reason to think this is no coincidence. PSG could pull off a move similar to the one for Renato Marin (19) last summer, when he arrived from AS Roma. One can also wonder what exactly the long-term plan is for each of them. But there is still time to clear all that up. In the meantime, Longoni is expected to commit to Paris and gradually make a place for himself.
