Christian Kofane/@onze mondial
Cameroonian prodigy Christian Kofane has seen his stock soar following a string of stellar performances for his German club Bayer 04 Leverkusen, as well as the Cameroon national team.
At just 19 years old, the Douala native is already being compared to Samuel Eto'o, the legendary Indomitable Lions striker and current president of the Cameroonian Football Federation (FECAFOOT).
According to several reliable sources, the former AS Nylon standout is on Saudi club Al Hilal's shortlist for this winter transfer window, alongside Moise Kean (Fiorentina), Vangelis Pavlidis (Benfica), Kader Meite (Stade Rennais), and Joshua King (Khaleej).
Rumor has it an eye-watering €45 million bid was tabled, only to be rejected by the German club's management.
Across 25 appearances in the 2025-26 season in all competitions, Christian Kofane has netted 5 goals and provided 5 assists.
With the Indomitable Lions, he struck twice during the most recent Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON 2025).
