Michael Olise wants to move to Real Madrid | OneFootball

With France now eliminated from the 2026 FIFA World Cup, focus will once again turn to Michael Olise’s future at club level. As per a report from Foot Mercato, the France international wants to complete a move to Real Madrid this summer. 

When evoking Olise’s future, Bayern Munich have been unequivocal in saying that the playmaker is not for sale. Foot Mercato understands, however, that the truth is more nuanced. Whilst the Bundesliga giants would like to extend his current deal, the club have also made contact with potential replacements. 

Real Madrid have been heavily linked with a move for Olise this summer. The La Liga side are looking to make a signal of intent having gone two seasons without a major trophy. José Mourinho, who returned to the Bernabeu earlier this summer, has reportedly made Olise a priority target. 

Real Madrid are looking to complete a record transfer for the Frenchman, who himself is keen on a move to the Bernabeu. There will be talks between the player and Bayern Munich once Olise returns from the World Cup. Les Bleus were knocked out at the hands of Spain on Tuesday but must still participate in the third-place play-off, against either England or Argentina, on Saturday.
