Michele Kang to take sole control of Olympique Lyonnais, subject to DNCG approval

Michele Kang has agreed a deal to take sole control of Olympique Lyonnais.

The club said in a statement that she has reached agreement with Ares, the principal creditor of Eagle Football Bidco, and Cork Gully, the administrator overseeing the liquidation of the holding that owns about 87% of the club.

The American billionaire has committed to inject up to 71 million euros into the group, rising to 75 million when transaction costs are included.

Completion of the deal remains subject to DNCG approval, which must validate the financial guarantees and confirm Lyon’s administrative place in Ligue 1.

Only if those conditions are satisfied will the set of operations be carried out.
