West Ham are readying a January spend on players to accommodate the arrival of Graham Potter as Head Coach.

The former Chelsea boss has taken the reigns in east London following the disastrous appointment of Julen Lopetegui, who the club sacked from his position yesterday.

It’s now been reported by club insider ExWHUEmployee on The West Ham Way that the club are now firmly in the process of making changes to the squad this transfer window.

“A number of key players have been identified for that position from both the championship and abroad,” stated Ex. “Dutch midfielder Ezechiel Banzuzi is the latest name to join the list.

“The 19 year old is very highly rated and has represented The Netherlands at Under 21 level. Banzuzi currently plays for Belgium club OH Leuven who are managed by former Wales international Chris Coleman. West Ham face a lot of competition for the signature and it seems that the uncertainty around the manager has enabled clubs like Monaco to get an advantage in the race.

“Other midfield targets include Carney of Chelsea, Mathias Delorge of Gent and Dewsbury-Hall of Chelsea. There has also been some talk that Will Hughes could be considered with his contract up at the end of the season.”
