Mike Penders flags goalframe fault as Le Havre v Strasbourg halted

Play in the Ligue 1 match between Le Havre and Strasbourg was halted after Le Havre's second goal on Sunday due to an issue with the Strasbourg goal.

According to L'Équipe, Mike Penders, the Strasbourg goalkeeper, raised his hand and pointed to the right side of his goal.

Team-mates came to check and found the lower bar on that side had lifted, the piece designed to hold the net.

For a time, a hand could be slid between the turf and the inside of the goal.

After a collective effort to restore the structure, play resumed.
