James Justin scored with a deflected header before unleashing a wonder strike to pull the Foxes level.

Arsenal pushed for the winning goal and eventually came on top in stoppage time.

Leandro Trossard induced an own goal from Wilfred Ndidi from a Bukayo Saka corner.

Kai Havertz put the game beyond doubt with the Gunners’ fourth before the final whistle.

Saka had an exceptional game without scoring. He created eight chances with 11 duels and eight dribbles won.

The Englishman was also sublime with his corners with six of his 11 crosses finding a teammate in the box.

Speaking after the game, manager Mikel Arteta praised Saka’s delivery from corners

He told Arsenal.com: “That’s not an extra, that’s a game-changer. When he’s there in front of goal, and he puts the ball in the back of the net, that’s a game-changer.

“That’s what he needs to do consistently at this level, and the others have to do other stuff. I think we generated 17 corners today – we should have scored from others. We need every possible tool to be a threat all the time.”

Saka failed to register an assist for a sixth consecutive league game, but he was outstanding with his overall showing.

Aside from his creativity, the club graduate had 101 touches with a passing accuracy of 93 percent.

Arsenal will need him to replicate the showing when they host Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League in midweek.

Les Parisiens have been vulnerable from set-pieces and the Gunners could exploit them with Saka’s quality distribution.

Arteta will most certainly go with an unchanged attack on the back of top performances from Gabriel Martinelli and Trossard.

Martinelli was the standout player in the first half with a goal and an assist. Trossard also bagged a goal and indirectly secured the winner.
