Real Sociedad have confirmed one of the most anticipated renewals in their B team, with Mikel Rodríguez signing through 2029.
The club said in a statement that the midfielder has agreed a new deal running to the end of the 2028-29 season, adding that he joined at youth level and has been a key figure for the reserves this term.

Rodríguez, from Getaria, is viewed as one of the B team's standout talents.
Supporters had begun to grow anxious as several players under Ansotegi committed their futures while his remained unresolved.
The agreement ends that uncertainty and keeps him at the club beyond this season.
