Yunus Musah’s Milan future has become a subtle tug-of-war, with Leeds United keen on the midfielder but Ruben Amorim reluctant to let him go just yet.
According to Carlo Pellegatti, speaking on his YouTube channel, via MilanNews.it, the Premier League club are pursuing the United States international, but the new Milan coach wants to take a closer look before making any decision.
“Leeds are after Musah, but Musah is a player Ruben Amorim is watching closely and hopes to find a place for,” Pellegatti said.
“He’s a player who may have interesting facets that Milan perhaps haven’t managed to draw out.”

The pundit was candid, however, about how little the midfielder has shown to date.
“The fact that he played little at Milan, and then also at Atalanta, clearly makes us think we have to hope Amorim can see something in him,” Pellegatti added. “Because so far he’s shown really very little, an absolutely ordinary player.”
The assessment underlines the crossroads Musah has reached. Signed with high hopes, he has struggled to establish himself at San Siro and made little impression during his time away, leaving his standing under the new regime uncertain.
Amorim’s willingness to evaluate him offers a lifeline, but with Leeds ready to offer regular football, much may hinge on whether the Portuguese coach can unlock a player others have found frustratingly hard to place.
