Milan have announced the signing of Tammy Abraham from Serie A rivals Roma, on loan with no option to buy.

The move comes as part of a deal that sees winger Alexis Saelemaekers join Daniele de Rossi’s side on the same terms.

Abraham joined Roma from Chelsea back in 2021 and initially hit the ground running, with 27 goals in all competitions in his first season in Italy’s capital.

That strike rate dropped off in the following campaign though, and the striker now finds himself out of the Giallorossi’s plans.

Last season, Abraham scored just one goal in 12 appearances and will be looking to make a fresh start at San Siro wearing No. 90.
