As the dust settles on the winter transfer window, Milan are already plotting a major summer move to bolster their frontline with a familiar face.

According to Daniele Longo, Moise Kean’s profile has risen significantly on the Rossoneri’s shortlist of targets. Massimiliano Allegri would have ideally liked to bring the striker to San Siro in January, but the complexities of the mid-season market made a deal nearly impossible to execute at the time.

Milan are now focusing their efforts on the summer, having compiled a detailed dossier on the 25-year-old’s performances. The club’s management believes that Kean’s successful cycle at Fiorentina is naturally coming to an end and they are keen to take advantage of the situation.

Crucially, the report highlights a specific window of opportunity in Kean’s contract: a release clause worth €62 million that is active between July 1st and July 15th. With Allegri viewing Kean as a priority reinforcement to potentially partner with Rafael Leao, the Rossoneri are expected to monitor his final months in Florence closely before potentially triggering the clause in July.
