AC Milan have been incredibly strong away at Napoli in the last few years and tomorrow evening, they could set a new record at Stadio Diego Armando Maradona.
Most Milan fans, when thinking about Napoli away, will remember the Champions League game in 2022-23 and the 4-0 trashing in Serie A that same season. In other words, the Rossoneri have fond memories in recent times and the stats back that up.
In fact, as highlighted by Serie A’s stat pack, Milan are unbeaten in their last six games away at Napoli with three wins and three draws. Two of the draws came in the last two games, so the Rossoneri can still improve, but not losing is still a strong achievement.
Milan have never gone seven consecutive games unbeaten away at Napoli in their history, meaning an impressive record could be set with a win or a draw tomorrow. This is what Sergio Conceicao and his men will have to aim for, also because they need the points in the Champions League race.
The manager isn’t expected to make any major changes to the XI, relying on the basics and the quality of the squad, and it remains to be seen what the outcome will be.
