Little luck today for the Milan Futuro who fell to a narrow defeat against Pianese. It ended 1-0 to the hosts who started matchday 27 of Serie C 8th in the standings. At the Stadio Comunale di Piancastagnaio, Coach Daniele Bonera’s lads - with Mauro Tassotti making his debut as part of the Milan Futuro technical staff - put in a lacklustre performance against an opposition who opened the scoring with a penalty in the first half and managed to defend their lead in the second, then also playing a man up as Camporese was sent off in the 40th minute thanks to a second yellow card.
Two situations came in the space of 10 minutes at the end of the first half, hard to turn the tide on a game like that, making it increasingly complicated as the clock ticked down to find the energy needed to take the game into our own hands and away from hosts Pianese, led by number 9 Mignani who bagged his 12th goal of the season and became one of the top three goalscorers in Group B. Milan Futuro are thus still on 22 points in the table with an eye on points needed to avoid relegation.

MATCH REPORT Pianese had the first chance of the game on the counter, intercepted by Minotti. Milan responded with three attempts between the 24th and 26th minute: first Magrassi shot high from the edge of the box, then Omoregbe and Branca both went close to making it 1-0. The first real action of the game came in the 33rd minute when the referee pointed to the spot following a clash between Camporese and Nicoli in the box. Mignani shot low past Raveyre to convert the penalty. Pianese then went close to doubling the lead, denied by the Rossoneri keeper who stopped a twisting header from Indragoli. In the 40th minute, the second nail in the coffin for Coach Bonera's side came when Camporese floored Mignani to pick up his second yellow after the penalty incident, Milan down to 10 men. The Rossoneri struggled but didn't give away a second to Pianese who were dangerous again in the 41st minute through Nicoli, looking for the back post only to find Raveyre.
The pace was pretty contained in the second half with one chance apiece and no changes to the scoreline. In the 70th minute, Pianese went close through Simeoni who tried to get on the end of a cross from Da Pozzo by missed. Just a minute later, Milan Futuro had two chances with Quirini: first a turning volley on the end of a cross from Bozzolan with Boer tipping the ball out for a corner and diffusing the Rossoneri celebrations; another chance from the corner, but the header went high. Little excitement in the rest of the game and the 90 minutes ended in celebrations for the home side.
