The last match of 2024. The year that baptised Milan Futuro is about to come to a close, and we will host a top-class opponent to say goodbye. Chinetti will play host to Entella, the team in third place of Group B of Serie C Now. On Sunday at 15:00 CET, the match will also mark the beginning of the second half of the season, an important moment for Mister Bonera's squad. Let's approach the kick-off with our usual Match Preview.
LATEST FROM MILAN FUTURO
In the past week the Rossoneri, defeated 2-0 by Caldiero, said goodbye to the Coppa Italia of Serie C. Focus is therefore now on the league, as we try to recover from the unfortunate and undeserved defeat in Pesaro last Sunday. A success would allow the team to climb to 19 points, to end the year in a better position in the standings. The last home game in Serie C was a win over Gubbio; at Chinetti, the team has been undefeated in the last three league games (1W, 2D). Mattia Sandri is unavailable due to his disqualification, while Dariusz Stalmach could start again after resting during the week. None of the Rossoneri are booked currently.
LATEST FROM ENTELLA It is an extremely positive streak for the Ligurian side, who have been unbeaten in the league for 13 games since the 0-1 defeat against Pescara on 26 September, their only defeat of the season in Serie C. Third in the standings, they are two points behind Ternana / Pescara, with an attack that works (27 goals, Guiu top scorer with five) and the second best defence in the league with only 12 goals conceded. Fabio Gallo's tried and tested system is the 3-5-2 and it is paying off, thanks to an experienced and competitive squad.
