Milan holding final talks with Fabio Paratici | OneFootball

Fabio Paratici’s return to Serie A has almost been finalized. The Italian is expected to take over the role of sporting director at Milan, starting next season, as per Sky Sports Italia.

Talks have been going on over the last few weeks and it now seems that they are reaching a conclusion suitable for all parties. Milan CEO Giorgio Furlani is the one who has been in negotiations with the 52 year old and it is believed that a final agreement can be reached in a meeting later today. Paratici can only join the Rossoneri in the summer, because presently he’s still under contract at Tottenham Hotspur. This is because in 2023, he was handed a 30 month ban from the sport altogether after his former employers Juventus were found guilty for illegal accounting practices. Once he takes over at Milan, Paratici’s main job will be to help select the manager for next season. Current boss Sergio Conceciao took over last December and has a contract till 2026 but with this failure to turn things around at the club, it is heavily rumoured that a new manager will replace him.
