Milan interested in Borussia Monchengladbach’s Manu Kone | OneFootball

Serie A side Milan have expressed interest in signing Borussia Monchengladbach midfielder Manu Kone this summer.

According to a report by Relevo via Alfredo Pedulla, Milan have eyed up a potential transfer for Manu Kone as they venture out to replenish their midfield options.

Concrete talks are yet to take place between the Italian and German outfits but the Frenchman has appeared on the shortlist of candidates to be brought in for this window.

The Rossoneri are expected to go for Kone after the conclusion of the saga surrounding Monaco’s Youssouf Fofana as they are still in the race for him despite a hike in his price tag.

The 23-year-old has performed well with Borussia Monchengladbach last season when called into action and Milan feel that he suits their midfield needs perfectly for the upcoming campaign.

There is still a long way to go in the current transfer window and Milan chief scout Geoffrey Moncada aims to lay down the groundwork for possible signings to avoid any coups from other teams next month.
