Serie A side Milan are probing Genoa’s Morten Frendrup for a possible transfer this winter.
According to a report by Andrea Ramazzotti of La Gazzetta dello Sport, Milan manager Paulo Fonseca has asked for a reinforcement in midfield due to the absence of Ismael Bennacer and the overburdening of responsibilities on Youssouf Fofana and Tijjani Reijnders. The Rossoneri eyes have ventured towards Genoa midfielder Morten Frendrup and they are setting up a potential transfer for him soon.
The Grifone are aware of the interest from Milan and have therefore named a €20 million price tag for their starter. Milan scouts have observed the 23-year-old for the last two years and he has impressed everyone.
The Rossoneri are unlikely to pursue a permanent transfer for Frendrup but they are expected to explore a loan with an obligation to buy deal and Genoa are predicted to accept such an offer.
